From the very beginning, Tamika’s journey into the world of music was nothing short of magical. Starting her musical odyssey at the tender age of 3 within the warm embrace of her church, she was inspired by the legendary Whitney Houston and developed a remarkable 5-octave range that sets her apart as an artist of unparalleled caliber.
A devoted mother to six amazing children, Tamika has juggled a multitude of roles with grace and passion. Whether lending her powerful background vocals, offering expert consultation, or managing the careers of her talented children—including DJ Cash, DJ Star Cash, and singer Treasure Joy—Tamika's influence and dedication are truly boundless.
In 2005, Tamika made history as the 1st lady of DC's iconic go-go band Junkyard and also took on the role of casting director for Chuck Brown's "Block Party" video, showcasing her incredible versatility and flair within the industry.
